The “Online Voting” hosting package combines the most important functions for conducting online voting in a compact version. For your elections, OpenSlides is reduced to a streamlined menu navigation with participant management and the elections function. Elections with OpenSlides
OpenSlides offers many different voting methods, allowing you to realize your elections according to your statues and by-laws. A ballot can be conducted live and in a matter of seconds during a meeting or over several days, e.g., as resolution by circulation.
Whether you have a single candidate, a confirmation vote, a runoff election, a list election, or other complex election requirements, the available parameters help you reliably map each of these scenarios. Take advantage of the various options for voting methods, displaying the result, weighted votes, and vote transfers, as well as many other settings.
OpenSlides significantly reduces the organizational effort required, as there is no need to print ballots, supervise ballot boxes, or manually count votes. Once all voters have received their personal access data via a simple import, they can immediately participate in the election.
Secret and legal E-Voting
Online elections in OpenSlides can be conducted openly or secretly. In secret elections, it is not possible to trace how a person has voted – thus guaranteeing the secrecy of the ballot. At the same time, the voter register documents who participated in the election. By this, OpenSlides fulfills all legal requirements set for analog elections.
