The integrated digital voting system supports open, secret, and nominal votes on motions, elections of individuals, circular procedures, and polls. OpenSlides allows legally compliant, secret voting in accordance with legal and technical requirements. A legal opinion is available.

  • Only participants who are marked as present in OpenSlides and assigned to a group with voting rights are eligible to vote.
  • Support for various voting methods for majority and list-based elections: Yes/No/Abstain per candidate or list, Yes and/or No per candidate, as well as additional generic voting options (Abstain, Reject, Approve).
  • Candidates can be nominated directly from the participant list.
  • Support for multiple rounds of voting
  • Flexible presentation of results using various 100% reference values, including display on a projector, export of results as a PDF, and individual vote tallies.
  • Advanced features such as the delegation of voting rights to proxies or alternates, individual vote weighting, and vote accumulation.
